Power Loan

Tier: Seasoned
Type: Active
Duration: 0 (1 turn)
Range: 0 (touch)

Description: You can temporarily grant one of your Gifts to a willing target. It is possible to grant more than one Gift in this way (including Enhancements and boosts to parameters), but each must be granted separately. Enhancements and boosts to parameters must be applied in the copied Power exactly as in the original Power.

Possible Enhancements: Concealed, Delayed

Recommended Flaws: Single User (you do not have the use of any Gift that you loan out), Guaranteed Loan (you cannot end the effect before the duration expires)

Example 1:
Bill is a genetically-enhanced super soldier. He can temporarily grant some of his Powers to others by injecting them with his blood. He takes a Flaw to represent this requirement, allowing him to increase the duration of the granted Powers.

Flaw: Blood Donor (your blood must be injected into the target)

Example 2:
Father Miguel often blesses other Contractors in his group, allowing them to receive various benefits for several hours. He focuses on acquiring Powers which reflect the blessings he wants to be able to bestow, and which he hopes will be useful in a wide variety of circumstances.

Skill Loan

Tier: Seasoned
Type: Active
Duration: 0 (1 turn)
Range: 0 (touch)

Description: You can temporarily grant one of your skills to a willing target.

Possible Enhancements: Concealed, Delayed

Recommended Flaws: Single User (you do not have the use of any skill that you loan out), Guaranteed Loan (you cannot end the effect before the duration expires)

Example 1:
Bill the genetically-enhanced super-soldier wants to be able to loan not only his Powers but also his skills. As is the case with with the Powers he loans, he must inject the target with his blood to provide an infusion of a single skill.

Flaw: Blood Donor (your blood must be injected into the target)

Example 2:
West is a powerful psychic, able to alter memories and temporarily rewrite personalities. When he programs a target, he needs to be able to provide the skills appropriate to the identity he is creating. However, he doesn't want his teammates constantly bothering him with requests to borrow skills, so he takes a Flaw that specifies that he must alter the target's mind in order to grant a skill. Of course, if they want a skill badly enough to ask anyway, he'll grant the request …

Flaw: Comprehensive Programming (you can only grant skills in the course of altering the target's mind)
