If you succeed in an opposed skill check, you mark an entity or object and can concentrate (requiring an action) to determine its location. This does not enable you to affect the target with Powers or other abilities.

Possible Enhancements: Catalog (you can mark a number of targets equal to your Discipline), Life Link (in addition to location, you learn the target's Wound Level and whether the target is conscious), Fearless, Indomitable Will, Warning

Arcane Connection

Tier: Seasoned (upgradeable to Harbinger)
Type: Active
Duration: 0 (1 turn)

You have a way of using a piece of the target (such as hair or blood) to establish a connection with a target, enabling you to affect the target with Powers and other abilities of Novice or Seasoned level. You cannot determine the target's location.

If upgraded to Veteran, you can affect the target with Veteran Powers. If upgraded to Harbinger, you can affect the target with Harbinger Powrs.

Possible Enhancements: Concealed, Fearless, Indomitable Will, Warning

Example:

Jake makes a poppet to allow him to cast spells or use other Powers on the target at any range.

Empathic Bond

Tier: Seasoned
Type: Active
Range: 0 (Touch)
Duration: 3 (Discipline modifier in hours)

You have an Empathic Bond with one specific creature, chosen when this Power is received. You can communicate empathically, sharing thoughts, emotions, concepts, and images. You can even share senses, with concentration (though you cannot use your own senses while doing so). You know each other's approximate direction and distance, and general health. Should the target of the Empathic Bond die, you can establish an Empathic Bond with another creature.
